15% or even 5% is still a significant percentage. There are options in my car that I’ve used literally once or twice since 2012, but I wouldn’t want to omit them, like the 12V power receptacle in the trunk. The US NHTSA is saying AM Radio is a safety feature, and the cost to include it is minuscule compared to virtually every other safety device in a motor vehicle — unless you consider that omitting it allows the carmaker to also cheap-out on RFI shielding.
