Jeremy, I was told by a broker (it’s not their listing) the 1kw full time AM listed was WCEV/WRLL. That’s been listed for about a year. The idea was to try to sell them combined before WCEV abandoned the license. Again, this was told to me by someone else but it certainly makes sense. Their tower is in the heart of the metro and their studio and tower sites are leased long-term.
I don’t listen to it, but isn’t WPNA-AM all Polish programming, rather than “multilingual?” Always love when brokers list the 0.5mv/m population as if that’s actually listenable. With so much noise on the dial now, a 5.0 mv/m for AM is sometimes not strong enough to break through the clutter. Whether 1450 or 1490 with no real estate, neither is anywhere near worth that asking price.
