You are right. The issue is, you hear the same songs over and over. They tread carefully on Urban titles. No fad music. Very pick and choose. Very safe and rock leaning.
104.3 Jams, is not the same station it was when it launched. It has morphed and they are adding non-hip hop titles, friendly dance tunes, pre hip hop rap music. They are very B96 of the 90s minus the dance music. (think Urban, hip hop based). The irony is, it is eating B96 alive. B96 upper demos have migrated to 104.3, add in bad CHR music of today and a strong competition with KISS and MIX, B96 is toast.
