If Chicago goes, it is too early to predict, but you will most likely see EMF take the lower of the 2 billing stations which would be 101.1 (say hello to Air 1 on a full signal) and if WLS-FM can keep up the ratings and show revenue, it will be worth more. This scenario allows Cumulus to have more firing power allowing them to sell or horse-trade for another market. Hubbard CAN use one more full signal so they can complete fully against Entercom and iHeart. If WTMX and their cheese morning show bellies up one day, the market share and in turn cluster billing will shrink considerably, back or below reality level.
The AM's can be made into cash cows either by clearing network programs (ie: Rush, Levin etc...) or they can be brokered to the end of time (KABC is almost there). They will be run on the cheap of cheap. Say goodbye to Mancow and all other local facets on WLS-AM.
