Radio is supposed to sound professional if you claim to be professional. If you're amateur and learning then fine, but you don't get brownie points for playing in this arena then crying poor or inexperienced.
Right now, it's really nothing more than a glorified computer with someone who wants to be in radio without any of the experience or know how.
It has zero professionalism, no quality production, even pirate radio stations can sound better if the person running it knows what it takes to make it sound like something other than an 8 track player and a ten year old wanting you to listen to records in his/her bedroom.
It's really a shame, they get a break like this and show they're not even close to being ready for prime time.
Many in the 'industry' don't like this kind of thing because it's garbage, it's low grade, zero quality, no standards met, poor production and execution, that's not 'radio', we all work hard to present the tightest production and presentation we can. If money is the issue then raise it or don't do it. It's that simple. There's ways to do things on the cheap and still sound on point and sharp.
Good luck on an answer
