WKTI will probably add more local sports shows from WTMJ and will eventually simulcast the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers. It could potentially own men 25-54 and make a ton of money.
Good Karma has local investors and is very much a Wisconsin company. This isnít a cheap move. It was the goal the moment they bought the stations from Scripps.
AM is dying. FM listenership lapped AM 41 years ago. There are two generations who donít know AM exists. Sports, news, and talk are on FM signals in New York, Detroit, Boston, Washington, Seattle, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Dallas, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Kansas City, and Phoenix.
The FM simulcast is keeping WBBM from slipping into the same rut as WGN. If The Game showed any sign of life WSCR would have been on 104.3 several years ago.
