This mess was actually laid out quite differently for Greg Solk a few years ago, he liked the idea but market manager had no love for it so it couldn't be done.
Greg comes back in, they bastardize the original version of what was presented, an unnamed dummy decides that using the WBMX call letter would be great for music that has nothing to do with what WBMX as and before you know it, dummy #1 and dummy #2 make a big poopy mess, no surprise at all.
If you knew half the truths about the supposed 'geniuses' of Chicago radio you'd die laughing at how little they really know. There's a network of putz' who've all got each other's backs with the support of their bald friend.
In closing, WBMX means nothing to the crumbling tumbling, down-trending, soon-to-be lower 104.3 brass,
With about 300 songs in rotation (I'd have to check Mediabase again), it would have no impact other than something cool for people who are radio geeks
Mitch is a great talent, in fact, WBMX was his first station back then, today? On this station? What for?
