Regarding my HD list, I indicated that 102.3 WYCA's HD signal intrudes on WTMX and WVAZ. This is no fault of the Sangean receiver. Using an ICOM R8500, a narrow-filter (2.2kHz) AM-mode search either side of 102.3 reveals that their HD signal spills way over. I hear it buzzing from 101.935 through 102.680, which explains why the Sangean can't get RDS on WTMX, and cannot even lock the stereo carrier for WVAZ.
Crawford/Dontron has another 3-kW station in Lansing on 106.3 which obliterates 105.9 within a couple miles of their tower. It seems like filtering problems at the transmitters. Oddly, their 50-kW signal on 92.3 does not misbehave this way.
