I agree, although there is still a hearing on April 12 with creditors that could confound things. I'm not a finance expert, but it seems that half the battles in bankruptcies are the creditors fighting over who gets what position in line. Merlin probably argued their way toward the front a while back which gives both them and Cumulus some confidence of the deal getting approved.

In any event, if the deal goes through and somehow 94.7 becomes WLUP, the first song played should be "Trashed" by Black Sabbath (from the Born Again album).
