The market caps reach a point of critical mass where they don't do any good anymore, especially in the smartphone age where internet connectivity is improving and will only get better as the UHF spectrum is sliced to accommodate it. Data caps will be a thing of the past. The only difference is the cost of running radio transmitters versus the cost of running server farms. Advertisers won't care if the audience is reached via streaming or via broadcast, and if they do care they will probably prefer streaming.
I'm a bit surprised Weigel doesn't run a Me-TV FM simulcast on 26.6. Something that will probably be even easier with ATSC 3.0
