The FM translator from downtown is what will likely determine the future outside of that area. Until that reaches the air, it's just on the air. Right now it's broadcasting to the 45-64 Demographic with it's music programming of various 60s-80s Music (In both Rock-Pop and Rhythmic form) and Political Talk. Seems like a reasonable plan if you want to target that specific age demographic. It has more direction now than it did a few months ago.
If you don't like it, there's plenty of radio stations up and down both bands. I'm outside of the range except during the daylight hours. If I want to hear True Oldies Channel, Milwaukee has a 4 way affiliate (2 Translators, an HD-2 and an AM)
