Here's the ownership setup.
A company can own 8 in the market, with no more than 5 on a single band.
Hubbard in Chicago is all FM. They can add 1. Probably The Loop. They'd love to have The Loop so they could get it away from competing with The Drive.
Entercom is full.
Univison could buy one more but they just sold off one last year.
SBS is not expanding. They're trying to stay out of financial trouble. They have problems.
Sinclair again is not on a radio shopping spree, yet.
iHeart is full and obviously they are not going to be buying anything else in the near future.
EMF...if they wanted to beef up WJKL's already beefed up signal, they could buy one, or if they wanted to bring Air 1 to a larger signal, they could move K-Love to one.
