Unless there are 100 people in the Boston market who are qualified and ready to go on day one, WBZ will be unable to put anything on the air. Relocating people from out of the market would wipe out any cost savings this move will generate. Itís AM, any listeners they lose from a drop in quality wonít be replaced. Thatís going to cost them millions.
CC must want to keep WBZ live and local, otherwise they would not have traded for WRKO. Thatís going to be the dumping ground for all the garbage from Premiere.
