Posted by Reuben Sack Stumbled across this in a Google search - of obvious interest as my name is Reuben Sack. My name is taken from both sides of my family though - Reuben Foreman being my Grandfather's name on my mother's side and Sack being my father's family name (Sylan hana Sack). As far as I know, my Father's family immigrated from Russia (somewhere near Chernobyl, I'm told) around the turn of the Century. I'm told that the family name while in Russia may have been Zak. I have not encountered many other unrelated people with the name Sack, so it is quite possible that we are not to distantly related. I hope this small bit of information is of some help.
