My ancestor's name was Issac Wiseman and was born Feb 26, 1699 on ship while his parents (Thomas Wiseman and Elizabeth Quadling) were immigrating from Wales to America. He was the first born of 4 children (Issac, Sarah, Abraham and Thomas). I would like some information about his Jewish roots as he obviously has some. No one in that time period named their children after Jewish names if they were not Jewish. Can anyone help me?
