From last week's performance I don't believe O'Connell is fully fit and he is getting slower - that's why I would not have him starting.
If Cross is not fully fit but wants to play I'd start with him - & tell him to roam & ENJOY and see how he does.
The problem, in my opinion, remains that I'm not sure that SM is tactically up to making the right changes - at the right time.

: o connell at left back, drop cheesy cause he is
: not 100% fit

: Why drop Gary Cross and why partner Oconnell
: and Edwards when the partnership between
: Clarke and Edwards has looked much better.

: THE TEAM I WOULD PLAY WOULD BE : NICHOLLS,
: HOPKINS, OCONNELL , EDWARDS , CLARKE
: COOPER , WILLIAMS , ETTIENE CLARKE, PARMENTER
: ANSELL HAWES
: SUBS: CRUMPEN , CROSS, BUTTERWORTH, CREW ,
: FLACK

: Left back must be either Adam Holmes or Seb
: Murfet, someone who used to playing in that
: position rather than someone trying to fill
: in.

: Assuming that all registered players are fir
: what is the favoured startin line-up?
: for me it is
: Nicholls
: Hopkins
: Edwards
: Clarke
: A N Other
: Butterworth
: Cross
: Williams
: Cooper
: Ansell
: Hawes
: I do not know who should play at left back
: but I would not have the 3 slow tall guys
: playing together again - it makes us too
: vulnerable.
: But please let's have a motivator either on
: the bench or on the field. The headless
: chicken stuff in the last 20 minur=tes last
: week must not happen again.
: Bob - let's have your thoughts, before this
: soapbox suffocates with its inward looking.
