Point taken. However, I've been a regular contributor to this messageboard for many months now and have ALWAYS provided my e-mail address on every posting. As far as I can tell, spam has not been generated from this source, but more likely from other sites visited by myself such as Amazon, Play.com, etc. I'm not absolutely certain what procedures spammers adopt to build their address data bases, but would think that the CCFC soapbox would not feature highly on their list!
Anyway, I can understand your argument, but feel that it is a great shame to lose the likes of Messrs Foster and Mixture from this board due solely to the problem of identification. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that our board doesn't de-generate to the same level as the Ryman forum, with almost every posting containing abuse and swearing (if you can translate the English that is!)
