All adult cats at the shelter get spayed/neutered if they haven't already been when they come in. And all kittens that get adopted come with a certificate that helps pay for the cost of spay/neuter when the kittens are old enough to get that done.
There is also a low cost spay/neuter clinic in the county, plus a couple organizations that deal with TNR, which the shelter helps people connect with. But there are always more kittens, and our shelter, and others, can't accept them all.
