: My daughter is 9 yrs. old. Last year, I had
: her hair permed because I couldn't manage
: it. Her hair was very thick and coarse. I
: found myself brushing and combing
: excessively until it starting breaking off.
: I need some advice on how to care for her
: hair. Any suggestions on products? I would
: love to let the perm grow out.

Brushing and combing the hair excessively will cause even more breakage.Motions CPR comes in a jar and it will either slow the breakage or stop it completely. I know for a fact that it works wonders. Here are some tips on managing your child's hair.
-Do use the best quality products, and stay away from lesser known, inexpensive brands.
-Soften and detangle the hair in small sections
-Creme Press from Dudley products was designed to do the press and curl. The finished look will be silky and soft, almost as if it was chemically relaxed.
-To condition the hair well a good moisturizing conditioner is Humectress Creme Moisturizing Conditioner
If you do want your child to go back to natural the best transition is by using braids. I don't if you took your took your daughter to a stylist or did it yourself but it's always good to find one who works mostly on children's hair.
Good Luck to you and your daughter
