Greetings, you didn't say anything about lenght, texture or weather or not you had any chemical treatments. I'll treat it as this. Try Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree shampoo and their "gel" leave in conditioner. Go to the store and buy some (You may want to check your local bargain stores)virgin olive oil. Use this as a hot oil treatment and everyday use on your skin, nails (cuticles)and hair. The same V.O. Oil I cook with, I use in my hair. Visit these sites and enjoy your journey Sis. www.nappturality.com, www.curve-salon.com. Read about aunt-ts hair care. We didn't always have it so easy as a beauty supply away. "Getting back to the basics. : )

: Hey everyone. I keep hearing that conditioning
: is important but where can I get a good hair
: condition for my hair without paying $50 at
: the hair salon? I have used Pantene,
: Optimum, and a few others but it just
: doesn't do the job. Once I was my hair, and
: try to wrap it, is feel more nappy than
: before I did anything to it. Then I have to
: apply so much heat to staighten it out, and
: it hard to reach those roots. I'm looking
: for something that I can feel working in my
: hair, a tingle or something. Nothing else
: seems to work and I just feel like I have
: dry, unhealthy hair. Please help.
