I am in desperate need of help. I have been trying to grow my hair out for two years now. I suffered a huge set back when my hair was colored. I followed my stylist's advice by wrapping it at night and letting her perm it. However, after she permed it (two weeks after coloring)I realized after getting home and checking it out that I didn't have any hair in the center. I got braids about three weeks later and after taking them out had my hair cut to a very short style and have been growing it out ever since (last July). I keep my ends trimmed, use little heat. I shampoo regularly, use a conditioner as well as a leave in conditioner. I want it one length and have been growing and cutting so that all of my hair is the same length My hair has been growing well except for the center of my head...where I believe it was chemically damaged. I have visited many websites but few recommend products that are good for black hair. Currently I shampoo and condition with Cream of Nature. I use Aveda leave in conditioner. I am particularly interested in Wildgrowth Oil my Organic Root Stimulator (but it's not on their website). I would appreciate any help as I am in dire need of help and am getting really frustrated and thinking of cutting it all off. I just don't know what to do.
