I have been using a texturizer for some time now, because it softens my natural curls and makes them easier to comb. Unfortunately, it does not loosen the curl as much as I would like, but on the other hand, it does not seem to do as much damage to my hair as Jhericurls did when I used them years ago.. I live in a hot, dry environment, which makes my fine hair dry out easily. Does any one have any comments on the pros and cons of texturizers vs. brief treatment with relaxers? Thanks.
