I have had natural hair for 5 years now and recently re-discovered pressing (ie the hot comb) to make my hair straight. I need somewhere in NYC that presses hair for a reasonable price. The last establishment I went to charged $43 for a washing, deep conditioner, and clipping the ends. I went to the same place after washing my own hair and was charged $40! After a little debate with the hair dresser, I paid the money but decided the whole thing was a bit shady.
