I am a black women with very kinky (but I'm loving it) hair. About a year ago, I decided to go natural, and I now have a nice short afro, about ( about 3 inches long). My hair is considerably longer, but I have a lot of shrinkage. Lately I can hardly comb my hair because it is so thick (never had this problem when I was perming). I love that my hair is healthy and thick, but I need style options and I good stylist who knows how to take care of natural hair. Can anyone recommend a salon here in NYC OR Brooklyn?
