I would highly recommend taking a natural approach for a while. If you use teas like nettle and chamomile, they both stimulate hair health, as well as growth. Olive and/or carrot oils are also good for conditioning the hair root and the scalp. Fantasia IC actually has an excellent line of "100% Pure Tea" hair products, that contain the best known teas for topical hair treatment (that is, they are used on the scalp, rather than drank). Signs also indicate that diet factors into the condition of the hair. Natural food, drink, and snacks as opposed to standard processed foods, and popularly marketed snacks and beverages for kids containing strong dyes and excessive sugars- whenever possible.

: My daughter has very very coarse, short hair.
: Her hair started growing when she was about
: 3. She's now 5 in a half. I was told that
: if I comb a relaxer through it, it would be
: more manageable. At first, everything was
: good. What I didn't know was that I wasn't
: suppose to switch from a regular relaxer to
: a kiddie relaxer and so forth. Now her hair
: is very damaged and she was experienced
: great hair loss. I don't know what to do.
: Please help.
