im going to college in 5 months and thought to go natural. I've had a perm since I was 14 and Im 18 now, my hair is really long and thick, got plum and a red rinse coloring in it, and I do Not want to cut any of it off to go natural. So I plan to just not get a needed relaxer(yeah have alot of new growth now) and just wash and twist strands for two weeks and then start over(the twisting i mean). My natural hair is not curly, but got a waviness to it, I want to grow it back to my waist(5 more inches) and dont want to cut any of it off, I know what I'll be going through anyway. But Im up for the challenge. It already is hard enough combing my hair after I wash it. I never use heat on my own hair.
