Help!!!!! My hair is over processed, very thin in the top and thick every where else.

Hello, I have over permed my hair. It is very thin in the front; but the rest of it is very thick. Actually I need a perm, because I have so much new growth. But I'm afraid to perm it. I fear that if I do perm it, the part that is thin may come out. Then I really will have a problem. I would really appreciate if someone, anyone could give me some advice. Thanking you in advance your help. Barbara
