For the past few years I have tried to use different perms on my sensitive scalp with no good results. My scalp was either burned or my hair was complety dry after the process even after deep conditionig and moisturizing. I've used moisturizer products such as Pink Oil, Right On Curl, Olive Oil Cream, Softee Grease, Sulfur Sclap Grease etc... but I still end up with a dry scalp that flakes and causes scabes if I scratch too much. Dandruff shampoos don't work and strip my hair of it's natural coloring. After a perm I had back in December faield I decided to go with a curly perm only to have that fail as well. It was already breaking off with a lot of split ends and every time I brushed or combed it more hair came out than the usual. I decided that was it and cut all my hair off. I need suggestions on products that will stop the dry scalp and dandruff, that will moisturize my hair without weighing it down and tips on ways I can get my hair to grow healthy and long without chemicals that always go wrong.
