I have a payphone stamped on the front is Automatic Electric Company. To make it short,I just took it out of storage and it does not ring.As for the dail tone theres none but I do get a humming sound. Its hooked up with the other phones in the house which you can hear whats being said but can't talk. I tried swiching the red and green wires but no go. someone mention the device in the handset (mouthpice) could be defective. I just dont know any help would be greatful.
