Batteries-a standard battery plant is 48 volts, each cell about 2 volts, 24 battteries. Size depends on amperage required by CO.
Cables, depends. Lead covered cables come into the cable vault from outside plant. Normally, there is not much length to the cables from outside, 100 feet at the most. Size and number depend on the size of the CO.
