Not sure if you found one yet but more is always better. The one I know of is in Livengood, Alaska. 907-295-XXXX.
An interesting find is on 907-295-8888. Its the remote monitoring dialup. Gives you switch status, temperatures, power/battery stats and any pending errors/warnings/alarms. Also lets you listen to the switch room for 15 seconds then repeats this process (no sound clip the second time through tho).
Whats interesting is when you box into 8888 from a "dead" number in the exchange (most are "dead"
. Say you call 8880 then from there box to 8888. When you listen to the switch room you can actually hear a phone ringing in the room. If you call straight through to 8888 theres no phone ringing.
Pretty cool stuff and I assume your asking this info so you can play with your shiny new box. If your just looking to listen to switches tho then I really suggest you call 8888 a few times.
Either way its a nice find for anyone both for and against MA. Last mechanical switch I know of in North America. If anyone can add to this list then please do. It would be interesting to see how few exchanges like this exist.
