Wanted to buy- Phila PA area. Will travel a bit for large qtys. Hobbyist wants to purchase the following: Old Western Electric vacuum tubes- almost any numbers - new old stock or good used. Also W.E., Hickok, and military TV series tube testers. W.E. Altec, and KS series speaker drivers and wooden wall-hanging "Backpack" speaker cabinets as well as any WE, DuKane, etc tube amplifiers, preamps, etc -this stuff would have been used in switching applications and for in-house public address systems. WARNING: If you have any of this equipment- DO NOT plug in to test as the power supply parts can be dried out from age or damaged if stored in a damp basement or garage- can be a serious fire hazard.
