I'm a current Phone employee in the Northeast. I work for Fairpoint Communications (they just bought part part of Verizon's network) I am looking for some information in concerns to setting up a rating exam in Equipment installation. I have asked several different people from several different departments how a phone call is typically routed through an office, and I've gotten several different answers (and a couple of good arguments afterwards) Could anyone provide me with their take on how a phone call is routed through a typical central office.
