So I posted a new thread a while back and it didn't really do me me any good. I am going to try again. My best friend/bassist and I are looking for a dedicated drummer. We are interested in making good music. We are not in this for the image or the popularity, we want to create good music that we actually enjoy listening to and playing also. We take our music very seriously and we try to write our lyrics and music to the fullest as possible. We don't want to stop writing the song until we are 100% satisfied with the result. We are also into writing about the dark side of life, or subjects that most bands don't choose to write about. The band we really can't stop listening to right now is Alkaline Trio, they are not all we listen to, but they are a big influence. We have a huge variety of bands that we listen to. We don't try to really sound like anything, we write what comes to us, and if we like it, then we keep it. We both have fully gig capable equipment. I have been playing guitar for almost 8 years and my bassist has been playing for about 4 or 5, and he is an amazing bassist.
