Okay, I've been playing the guitar since I was 13-a year of that was on bass. Thank God "real" metal has replaced the whole rap-metal stuff.
I grew up listening to bands such as Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, etc. I played in a few bands. One band called "wrig-1" was a phunk-metal thing, a few were "death metal", but none of them went anywhere besides my high school band that stuck around for a few years named "the breed of sedition".
Now after years of anger and frustration, I've decided to give back to the god who gives.
I still write pretty heavy, usually fast metal songs. I have some recording gear and a drum machine as well as a $4.99 mic. Now, what I need is someone else with a heart for metal and a love for the Lord. I would love to be a brutally heavy metal band that gives God praise. I just don't think this is something I can do alone.
To make things more difficult, I live in a hick town named Fairbury and I am married with children as I am 27.
