My style on bass is typically somewhat funky blues metal, but I play to fit the song. I also like to dive into heavy industrial bass riffs locked tight with pounding tribal drum grooves that defy a still crowd. Highlights of my bass gear include a Conklin 7 string bass, Ibanez 6 string bass with MIDI capabilities, Ibanez Ergodyne bass, SWR Mo'Bass head, Line6 Bass Pod Pro, ART Nightbass SE, Akai s6000 sampler, EMU Proteus 2500 synth module, Roland GR-50, several power amps, 2 Mesa Boogie Road Ready 1516b cabinets, 2 Acme Low B2 cabinets, and more that fills my 2 12 space racks and a 10 space rack. Aside from the bass gear, I have a rackmount '97 Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier with matching 4x12 cabinet, a Digitech GSP 2101 Artist with the PPC210 upgrade, a Yamaha DX7, several microphones and a Macintosh recording setup with 18 simultaneous input tracks. I am located in the Peoria area (Pekin). I would like to get into (or build from scratch) an original rave metal situation with overtones of classic stadium rock. I would prefer individuals with above average intelligence, pro gear and enough experience to have their own sense of style. A sense of humor helps, too... heh.
