Keep Baawb comfy and happy and he'll know how much you love him. Dogs have a wonderful unconditional love that goes both ways - they'll always give love to you and always receive your love in turn.

Bob, you're right by not wanting him to suffer, as much as it pains us to let go and say goodbye to our furry friends. I personally can't bear the thought of eventually losing my Samoyed; he's been "my boy" and the furry love of my life for 9 years, and only fellow animal lovers understand the deep bond between humans and their fur-babies.

I'm thinking of and praying for your whole family including Little Baawb, and hoping that you have a Happy Mother's Day with your mom.
