Building a dollhouse, RWAV style (msg, pics)

I'm beginning to think I have finally gone over the edge, LOL!! I took the 3 Room With A View panels that I have, and following the example of Bogie and Bob at IDEX, began to put together my own 16" fashion dollhouse. This is just the rough beginning. I need to figure out a top that can go across the whole top of the first floor (I want to build a rooftop patio next to the bedroom), and there will have to be some more interior elements ordered from Bella (different wallpaper for the dining room, more windows, etc). And since the outdoor walls of the bedroom are the floral garden backdrop, I will need to cover those in something solid, to make it look more like a house. I've been finding some little wood pieces of furniture at Michael's Arts and Crafts, and I'm realizing there are some pieces I can build myself. I have this great Barbie furniture pattern from a few years back, that could easily be enlarged and adapted for the 16" girls. But this is a very, very cool start, I think

I always did want to be a homeowner, LOL!
