Hello!
I am sorry to say that i don't have any referances for you, except the fact that braces did teh exact same thing to me. The difference for me is that my dentist is simply dealing with one tooth issue at a time rather than recontructing everything at once. I usually end up haveing 2-3 cavities every 6 month check up so its been an expensive ride. If you can get all of them sorted out at once i would really recommend it, just remember that you may have a tolerance to local anestheic due to the EDS.
: Hello everyone. I am 15 and just got
: diagnosed with EDS a year ago at
: johns hopkins. this board has been a
: big help for me, and i figured it
: would be a great place to get an
: answer to this- I was hoping to get a
: website or two that says EDS does
: include tooth problems. i got my
: braces off 2 monthes ago, and to my
: disapointment i am now needing total
: reconstruction on my teeth. my
: enamel is so depleted that this is
: necessary. now, i believe this is
: due to EDS, but it would help to have
: references to submit to insurance.
: any help would be appreciated! thank
: you.
