I think that you need to look into getting a new dentist, as soon as possible. This guy isn't helping you, and even if he isn't a cosmetic dentist, you have the right to proper care, not to be told that your teeth should look that way, for what you can afford to pay. Call around, and ask if any of the dentists are familiar with Ehlers Danlos syndrome, or ask your dentist to do some research on EDS... it IS a medical condition that DOES affect teeth. I personally think he is just trying to cover his butt for doing a poor job. I would also call the american dental society and report him. Or ask who his supervisor is. everyone has someone that they have to answer too!!! If he's listed under 1800Dentist, file a complaint with them. I wish I could help you more, but i also have really bad teeth. I'm only 28, but my teeth are also "butter" and crumble. Best of luck to you!!!!
