I had had stomach pains for many years. I am 37 now, but I think it really started to get bad for me when I was 12. Over the years what has worked for me is eating little volume at one sitting.(that includes not alot of liquids at once) Staying clear of chocolate, alot of processed foods, spicy foods, coffee etc. Sort of stay with simple foods, like fruits, veggies, meat, and grains. Unprocessed I guess. The simpler the better. And try to avoid any foods that are "gassy" for your body.
As for the pain, the only thing that worked well for me was slippery elm powder. Just a spoon of the powder in a cup of water and mix it up. Maybe drink once a day. Really helps with the pain. (very safe as well, people use it on babies who have colic) It is an old remedy. You can buy it in a health food store.
I guess you just have to really listen to your body.
Hope this helps.
