I had my ears pierced twice. After the first time, they tore. (I was 12) Then maybe 6 years later had them done again. (same area almost) Tore again. The earings would get caught and would cause tearing. I would always get infections. At the time I did not know that I had EDS, so I thought it was the metal causing the infections. (my Dad was a jeweller) I tried every kind of earing and nothing worked. I gave up. Now I really want my nose done, but am afraid of the same problem again occuring. Maybe I should get a tattoo? haha
