I'm 18 years old and I have EDS. I had an overbite and when I was 14 I had braces put on for almost three years. I didn't have my jaw broken, just ordinary braces, on both the top and bottem jaw, because I had crooked teeth. The braces did help a lot, they didn't fully get rid of the overbite, made my teeth perfectly straight. I still have somewhat of an overbite but it has substantially decreased, and when I wear a night retainer (just a normal, plastic one), it helps a lot.
