I am 28 years old (I have type 1 EDS) and have always had a overbite. As a child, I was told to have the surgery where they break the jaw and then wear braces. I have found only few articles related to this topic. I was wondering if anyone with EDS has had this surgery and/or braces and what there experience was. I need to figure out if its worth going through all this right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
