- Historical Statistics

Does anyone know of any good resources for historical statistics on grantmaking? I have a patron who is interested in tracking the amount of funding by foundations since 1980 to areas that include biodiversity (within the U.S. and internationally). Thanks! --Karen

Karen, since none of your colleagues responded, I've sent a query to a staff member of our research department here at the Foundation Center. I should have a response by Monday. My fear however is that there is no free way to get this information, which might involve a custom search of our database.
