Katrina aftermath

Does anyone know what has happened to the New Orleans Public Library in the middle of this catastrophe? Has anyone been contacted by a member of the Cooperating Collection down there? We just got a call, here in the Pittsburgh library, from a local corporation that wanted information on where to contribute. We passed on the Foundation Center's information from the current front page news items on relief efforts, especially the corporate contributors so far.
