It's not a book, but you might look to the website www.disabilityresources.org.
On the right-hand side of the page is a list of their most popular headings. Ignore the heading "grants" and click on "financial," which is specifically for individuals. Also, you can click on your state to find resources there--it includes state offices, support groups and advocacy groups. Many states have an office or organization that offers financial help for assistive technology. You might also use www.guidestar.org to find groups for the disabled in your community. There is one in Toledo, for instance, that gives grant money for ramps. Good luck.
