laptops? wireless?

Does any CC use laptops to provide your public with access to FDOnline Professional?
I am thinking about asking for more FC stations in our room. Before I write up a proposal, I need to get an idea of prices and peripherals to request. I would really like to talk briefly to anyone who has experience with this kind of FC "minilab."
