This isn't going to help you much Kathy, but I just couldn't resist posting it for everyone's amusement. Last week, I had a patron in to use the collection. At the end, he handed me a DVD in a little case and said "I want you to have this for the collection". I asked him what it contained and all he would say was "Information on writing grants and getting money". So I took it home to watch it first. On the screen was the same patron, sitting all alone at a desk (in his home I guess by the looks of the background). READING into the camera. What was he reading? Jane Geever's "Proposal writing" book, 1st edition! Needless to say, that DVD is NOT going into the collection. The heat must already be getting to people here in Las Vegas.
