Hi Andrea - while I am not directly familiar with the RMM resources I work with a consultant that uses the model and the books very successfully. While she did not go through the training she did purchase the books and uses them to put the model in place. It has been very succesful for the orgs she has been involved with. As fundraiser in a previous life - my sense is that Terry Axelrod had the foresite to write down and copyright pretty standard fundraising practices - a person with good skills in this area will succed without the expense of the training.
